The marcus evans Group was proud to have been a supporter of the British Olympic Appeal that assisted Team GB in their very successful achievements at Beijing 2008. 

Team GB was 549 members-strong: 312 athletes and 236 support staff.  The appeal helped to ensure that each athlete performed to the best of their ability and the marcus evans donation helped Team GB’s preparation.

With the cost of sending just one athlete to China for the competitions sitting at £18,000 and with almost 300 athletes competing for Team GB, the financial support from the marcus evans Group and other organisations helped enable the Team GB British Olympic Appeal cover those costs and ensure a full strength team which enjoyed fantastic success in bringing home the medals from Beijing.
