The journey that I have taken with marcus evans since I joined the company in March 2010, has been one of the most influential experiences of my life. Undoubtedly I have grown as a marketer and as a business professional. The opportunity to take a dynamic leadership role, engaging with high-level executives on a daily basis in a global business environment, is an experience that few other organizations could have provided me.

I was hired as one of the first Marketing Managers to open the Marketing division in the North American Miami office. Situated in a multi-dimensional downtown metropolis, the Miami office has a team-filled atmosphere. The exciting progression of the Marketing department has been influenced greatly by that team mentality. With the recognition of what a rapidly changing environment the marketing world can be, I have partnered with my colleagues across the globe to develop new strategies and creative approaches to positively increase the marcus evans brand awareness and impact. Amid the exciting travel to stunning five-star resort venues to host our prestigious Summits, I have also had the privilege of the company’s investment in my knowledge and continuing education through global training sessions that have allowed me to visit and learn in spectacular countries across the globe. I sincerely can say there are few places I could visit that I would not have a colleague that has become a friend.

As the team in Miami thrived, and I demonstrated my passion and enthusiasm for marcus evans, I was given the opportunity to step in as the head of our media partnerships in NA. I have worked with the leading publications and associations in many industries and built a lasting relationship with my clients. I lead a talented team of individuals that have truly impacted the nature of my role. I am always seeking out ways to invest in our team and to make the best use possible of all of our strengths and to seek new ways to grow our value return. I believe in leading in a way that allows each marketer to learn as much as possible about the many elements of the marketing industry. I try to support each individual’s style to grow stronger and more distinctly as an effective professional.
