marcus evans group meet our staff - Production

Brittany Ryan - Summit Production

Joining marcus evans as a Summit Producer was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Being responsible for the intellectual content of some of the world’s most reputable industry gatherings is no small charge but it does bring countless rewards. Over the years I have learned more about how different industries tick than I ever could have while in school.

A Summit Producer gains a competitive edge by collecting on-the-pulse information directly from market leading execs, what could be more fascinating than learning what is truly going on behind boardroom doors? Moulding this insight into a market-leading programme gives me the opportunity to apply my love for critical thinking and copywriting and in turn, we offer industry leaders the opportunity to obtain valuable information in a highly exclusive and luxurious setting.

From an operational standpoint, running global business-to-business meetings definitely has its perks. While living in the US in 2007, I never would have imagined jet-setting across the pacific or even to the south of France but just a year later that’s exactly what I was doing. Meeting new and interesting people, working with cross-cultural teams and visiting some of the world’s most beautiful venues is exhilarating and fun.

As the nucleus of the summits division, the production department is responsible for crucial in-house knowledge and provides key support for our colleagues across the globe. In order to succeed, a Summit Producer must be hard-working and ready to learn. As a Summit Producer for marcus evans, my efforts have resulted in many rewards including increased opportunities to implement my ideas and grow in my role.
This position has done so much for me both on a personal and professional level and I look forward to many future adventures as a Summit Producer.
