Tito Holder - Event Management

My name is Tito Holder and I started with marcus evans inc in 2007 in the role of Event Manager. Having worked in that position for two years my experience within the organization created an opportunity for promotion to my current position of Senior Event Manager.  At marcus evans the Event Management team is dedicated to converging all elements associated with the delivery of a wide range of conferences, catering to top level managers of Fortune 500 companies. Our business processes are designed to ensure successful events, where delegates, speakers and sponsors are able to capitalize on networking and business development opportunities.

As an Event Manager, my responsibilities include: negotiating contracts with luxury 4 and 5 star hotels used for conferences, managing delegate, speaker and sponsor requests, coordinating food and beverage and audio visual equipment during the conference, budget management and on-site registration and logistics management.

The travel component of the Event Management field proves to be one of the many rewards offered within marcus evans. Event Managers travel to conferences on a monthly basis to ensure their overall success. I have had the opportunity to handle on-site logistics at 4 and 5 star hotels in Las Vegas, New York, Boston, Washington and several other cities with the US used for marcus evans conferences.

The Event Management division at marcus evans offers a challenging and rewarding career experience. It requires an eye for detail as more than one conference is managed simultaneously. marcus evans has offered me the opportunity to further pursue a career in a field that I enjoy and am passionate about. My goal is to continue building my career strengths whilst being innovative in conference management practices, ensuring all attendees continue to take pleasure in attending our conferences.
