The Institute found that the manufacturing sector had been particularly strong in July and would continue to be in future months, although weak exports are likely to dent confidence.
This positive air around Europe's largest economy saw the value of the Euro rise and comes after the country experienced growth of 2.2 per cent for the quarter up to June, compared to just 1 per cent for the eurozone as a whole.
