The expenditure is 5,995,400,000,000 YEN on 2006 and it is 1.18% of GDP. For breaking down, newspaper advertising expenditure is decreasing, instead of that, TV and Internet is increasing. Nowadays TV has double expenditure than Newspaper despite they are nearly the same in 90's. Through spreading broadband service, Internet expenditure exceeded Radio's on 2004 as Internet was 181,400,000,000 YEN and Radio was 179,500,000,000 YEN.
Internet Advertising is growing rapidly and become equal to Magazine as 363,000,000,000 YEN on 2006.
So at the previous advertising, big mass media was TV, Newspaper, Magazine and Radio but nowadays this reputation collapsed and Internet has another media power and company advertising and communication way become various and complex with new tools such as blog and SNS.
