SIP technology has reached the point where it is clear that this change will happen within the next few years, but there is still a great deal of debate on the business case for integrating SIP capability and the best method for ensuring interoperability and QoS during the transition. Operators also need to develop new strategies to make the most of these capabilities and deliver compelling service offerings that will justify the expense of investing in this new infrastructure. Much of this debate is occurring now and operators are keen to hear the experiences of their competitors with this technology before taking the leap themselves.
This event will focus on emerging standards in SIP and making the connection between established capability and solid business models and service offerings. This event will offer operators a look at the best practices being used by other in the industry to offer value-added services over fixed and mobile devices, and the network required to support increasingly intelligent end-user devices that deliver unparalleled user experience.
