HSE Safety Processes and Critical Risk Control
Empowering workforce to accelerate efficiency of health and safety process in reducing critical hazards and aiming for zero incidents

Event Date: 25-26 Jan 2010
Location: Prince Hotel,KL, Malaysia

conference focus

Today, workplace health and safety is of prime importance since there are professions, which involve risks that could turn out to be fatal. In the last few years process industries have moved to large, world scale plants. Because of their size and exposure to potential mishaps, these plants have an increased potential for major accidents. Recognising this potential, companies have implemented many engineered safety features into these plants to manage and control potential accidents. This effort has been successful in producing an excellent safety record.

However, failures of these systems do occur occasionally and can result in major accidents endangering the lives of officers. In recent years there has been an increased effort to develop safer processes, focusing on redesigning the process to eliminate the critical mishaps, rather than on accepting the hazard and developing a design features to control it. However the stages of protection require expenditure on resources which include designing and building the process to maintain safety and reliability for a longer time frame.

marcus evans ‘HSE Safety Processes and Critical Risk Control’ conference will provide unique approach and current the methodologies to ensure that processes clearly described, risks are identified and mitigated, critical procedures are developed, and workforce responsibilities are well defined to spearhead a safe and healthy workforce. Kindly contact Ms Catherine Foo for event details and event brochure. This conference is also approved by Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan Malaysia (Kementerian Sumber Manusia)- Department of Occupational Health and Safety (DOSH) as part of the Continuous Education Programme (CEP) towards the renewal of registration for Health & Safety Officers. Total CEP points: 15 points.
